Waldemar Dziki
Is a director, screenwriter and producer born in Zakopane in 1956. In 1980, he graduated from the Faculty of Directing at the State Higher School of Film, Television and Theater in Łód. In 1982, Waldemar Dziki received the Prize of the President of the Council of Ministers for his work for children and young people. Between 1989 and 2001, he sat on the State Committee of the Polish Cinematography. Waldemar Dziki is one of the first independent film producers in Poland. He has twenty years of experience in the industry and has made over a dozen films. In 1988-1999, Waldemar Dziki was a partner in Pleograf, one of the oldest private production companies operating on the Polish film market. Now, he manages Dziki Film, which deals in commercial cinema and sponsors the young generation of filmmakers.
